Design for Empowerment
Users like to feel like they are in control of the interfaces they are engaging with. It is important to allow for customization.
Iteration is Key
The key to great design is the cycle of iteration and user feedback to inform future iterations.
Keep It Simple
Sometimes the best designs come from minimalism. This may come at the cost of omitting good ideas or reimagining them for simplicity.
